The Truth Revealed
The moment you've been waiting for has arrived! Truth is, the dot is actually nothing new - but - it has been relocated so it is more visible now. What you are seeing is the online/offline indicator. If you see a GREEN dot, it means that member is online. if you see a RED dot, that means the member is offline (Or has chosen to appear offline)
The choice is yours! If you want people to know when you're online, then you do not enable the offline option. If you prefer not to share your online status, you can toggle your setting to 'appear offline'.
- A. Click on the three bar icon in the top right corner of the website
- B. Click on Settings & Purchases
- C. Toggle the "Appear Offline" option to on and now your online status is hidden.
- D. If you decide to turn the "Appear Offline" toggle off, the online indicator will accurately share your online/offline status!
Keep in mind, once a member logs off, it can take up to 10 minutes (or more) for the online/offline indicator to reflect inactivity.
