Discover SingSnap Credits!
If you've ever wondered what exactly SingSnap Credits are and how they can be used, this is the article for you! Like most societies, SingSnap has its own virtual currency and we have affectionally coined them (see what I did there?) SingSnap Credits. The future plans for this virtual currency and limitless but right now - we have a few fabulously fun ways to use them!
Purchase Promotional Items
When you're cruisin' the halls of SingSnap you may notice some members have fancy colored usernames or little icons next to their name. Every month we do a promotion that allows the community to dress up their username and share the love (in the form of what we call trinkets) with their SingSnap family. Both trinkets and usernames can be purchased with SingSnap Credits. Click on the SingSnap Store link to get started.
Purchase Snapicons
Snapicons are something else that is unique to SingSnap. If you visit the SingSnap Store or a member profile/song page, you will find the ability to send a member a gift. One of the options available are Snapicons! Snapicons are also virtual icons but these are displayed on your profile, next to your photo. They last for 7 days and you can have more than one at a time! (They rotate!) These are fun ways to help people celebrate special milestones in their life such as birthdays, birth of a child, holidays OR just to let them know you're thinking of them.
Throw Roses
This is a WebApp (Website) feature only at this time. You can 'throw roses' on someone's virtual stage when you want to do something a little extra special to let them know you loved their recording! It's super simple to do; Open the recording and press play. You will see a little rose icon next to the 'love it' button on the player window. Click that, follow the prompts and voila! Roses thrown! Snap A Tip
Snapping a tip is basically 'virtual currency transfer'. Meaning, you can give someone some of your credits by Snappin' a tip! Whether you're just blown away by their performance or you want to spread the love - Snappin' a tip is a great way to help others have a blast too! You can Snap a tip directly from someone's profile page or their song page!
Spotlight Feature
Get more exposure for your older recordings! Spotlight Features happen on Monday and Wednesday mornings. Submit your song and it will appear on the What's Snappenin' section for a full 24 hours! Get all the info here
