A Glance Back on 2021!
2021 was definitely a year of re-birth for SingSnap! There have been a million changes because we transitioned to SingSnap 2.0 and eventually retired Legacy. To mention every modification would take an additional year, so we're going to focus on a few highlights and bring special attention to the FUN! Please kick back, relax and join us as we take a stroll down memory lane...
Introduction Of The SingSnap Blog
Naturally we're going to begin with the Blog since this is where you're reading this! We have always had a blog of sort, even back on legacy, but with the revitalization of 2.0 and more emphasis put on social media we decided to spruce it up and bring it to life! We're still navigating the waters and figuring out content but we hope with the latest addition of the Message Board category, it will make this feature more interactive and something you can start to look forward to!
New Recorder and Re-Mixer
When we first launched SingSnap 2.0, the recorder proved to be a challenge for a lot of users. Over time we were able to deliver a new recorder which cutting edge technology that made the recording process go much smoother for the majority of our members! We're so grateful for your feedback and patience and we will continue to strive to make improvements to ensure your recording experience is stress-free and full of fun!
A Year Full of Fun-Filled Promos
We did everything from Teddy Bear Hugs and Karaoke Stars to Fireworks and Love-Filled Hearts! The Trinkets and matching Usernames are always such a fun way to bring color to SingSnap and a cute and affordable way to let your fans and friends know you think they're pretty special!
How about Over 20 Chat Room Events?
Chat Room events are also something we've always done but they grew bigger and better than ever this year! We had so many amazing memories, costumes, fun and games! If you've never checked out our SingSnap Chat Friends room (hosted on Paltalk), you absolutely should come on by. There is even an app for your mobile device. We are open 24/7 and the Spirit of SingSnap is alive and well and ready to welcome you with open arms!
Or How about Over 40 On-Site Challenges?
If you thought we did a lot of Chat Events, how about the on-site singing challenges? Nearly every Friday Snappers stepped up to the plate, got silly and sang their heart out while participating in official SingSnap Challenges. It's refreshing to have something to look forward to and the creativity and talent that our community showcases leaves us in awe!
Frames and Filters For Your Fabulousness!
Frames - a brand new featured introduced to SingSnap in 2021! These allowed members to get stylish with their videos and give them a personal touch without having to download any external software for their computer. We also brought back filters like we had on legacy only we created a bunch of a new ones that we really hope Snappers have enjoyed!
A Snapper Grew Up and Got Famous!
We were so over the moon when SingSnap's very own Ryleigh become a finalist on The Voice! She joined SingSnap under her mothers account, hotingreen, when she was just 8 years old. She did incredible on the show and we know this is only the beginning for her! Keep reaching for the stars, Ryleigh! #SingSnapBelievesInYou
The SingSnap Chorus 2021
Many of you don't know this, but the fate of the Chorus was up in the air for a brief moment in time. We no longer had the tools to administer the chorus like we did in the past but as always, SingSnap Staff is committed to the community and we pulled together and figured out a way to deliver this time honored tradition! Huge thanks to everyone involved in making this a possibility, especially YOU - the singers!
SingSnap Turned 15 Years Old!
Talk about a milestone! SingSnap has grown, prospered and flourished over the past 15 years and we are dedicated to continuing to spread the Spirit of SingSnap for another 50 all across the globe! To each of you who has helped us get there, we are grateful and sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for showing the world what kindness sounds like - one song at a time!
