Valentine Special: Ask Aunt Agnus
The Month of Love is one of the most celebrated events in SingSnap history. The foundation of the community is built on love and friendship and accepting one another, warts and all! With any relationship though, there are ups and downs and sometimes we need a little help from our trusted friends to navigate the murky waters.
As a Valentine Exclusive: we have invited the wonderful Aunt Agnus to give our community some much needed relationship advice. Aunt Agnus has traveled the world in her quest for knowledge of all things love related! She hasn't found much but she has offered to share a few tidbits to help our beloved community!
Dear Aunt Agnus,
I have a bit of a dilemma. I met a man on SingSnap years ago and fell in love. We recently met in Vegas and decided to be spontaneous and got hitched! Exciting right? Well, we've been living together for two weeks now and I never knew he was an alcoholic until he came home sober last week! Now, I don't like him very much. Should I leave or buy him some whiskey??

No, you absolutely shouldn't buy him whiskey. That would be taking advantage of the man's weakness for your benefit. Definitely buy him Tequila, he will be much more fun and less hung-over in the morning.
Dear Aunt Agnus,
I have been happily married for 25 years. Recently though, all we do is watch TV and go to bed by 10 PM. He's snoring to the high heavens before his head even hits the pillow. Our sex life is non-existent. You gave advice to another lady once and told her to take her husband to a doctor. Well, my husband IS a doctor - so what should I do?

Dear Aunt Agnus,
There is a Snapper on here who freely gives me compliments. I don't mind them one bit buy my husband gets a little hot under the collar when he reads them. What should I do?

Dear Hot Headed,
You have two options are far as I can see it. Block your husband, he's totally crampin' your style. Or, buy him some collarless shirts, so that he at least doesn't over-heat as he's reading all your adoring comments.
Dear Aunt Agnus,
The other day I had errands to run. I wasn't more than two blocks down the road when my engine just died. It gave a little stutter and then wouldn't even power up. I walked back home and when I came through the door my husband was dressed up in my lingerie, dancing around the room and singing on my SingSnap account! When I confronted him he said he had just been feeling depressed and said I always light up when I wear my lingerie or when I am on SingSnap, so he decided to try it. I am so confused and I don't know what to do. I am not sure how I can trust him anymore! Do you have any advice?

Dear Confused,
A car stalling out like that could be caused by any number of things. I would first recommend checking the fuel line and make sure there is not any debris blocking passage. If that is clear of anything, check the jubilee clips that are holding the vacuum pipes in place. It could also be the fuel pump itself has broken and needs replacing as its not giving appropriate pressure to the carburetor. Hope that helps!
