Everyone loves a good love story and "The Bodyguard" had all the right ingredients for success reaching over $400 million in international box office sales. Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner may not have been an obvious pairing for a cinematic romance flick but they made sparks fly and Houston's album became the best selling soundtrack of all time!

Just "sigh". Forever a fan of Jack and Rose, this song is beyond iconic and memorable. The movie itself stayed in theaters for almost a year which helped contribute to its monumental success. Dion's powerhouse ballad became one of the most successful songs ever recorded and was a number one single in over 20 countries. Who hasn't stood over a railing with their hands out pretending they were Rose?

I Don't Want to Miss a Thing - 'Armageddon'
Why is it the most memorable movie sound tracks are love songs?! This hit by Aerosmith was one of the slower ballads of their career but it hit huge success in 1998 when Armageddon hit the movie theatres. I guess there is something special about putting your life on the line for love!

Gangsta's Paradise - 'Dangerous Minds'
Even if you don't love rap, you probably know (and enjoy) this monster surprise hit from the Dangerous Minds flick. The nitty gritty story line (of albeit dated stereo types), really adds to the flavor and memorability of this sound track. Coolio hit the jackpot with this song when it it became the number one selling single in 1995.

“Take My Breath Away - Top Gun"
One of the best 'date night' films in existence Top Gun (And now Maverick) have women falling all over themselves when this memorable hit by Berlin starts to play. The song won many awards including the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1986. This is and forever will be - a classic!
