Even though we're celebrating thankfulness all month here on SingSnap, it's no secret that we should be expressing gratitude through all months of the year. More specifically, we're referring to the magic of music and how it's so incredible to have as such a significant part of our lives! This week on the blog, we put together a list of reasons why we should be saying 'thank you for the music' (ABBA reference, anyone?).
1. Music makes long road trips .
Imagine a world where all your long family road trips had no soundtrack. Awkward, right?
2. What would holidays be without it?
One of the many things music is so great at is setting the tone. It's a great way for anyone to get into the holiday spirit!
3. It lets you dance like no one is watching (and doesn't judge)
Music doesn't discriminate, not even against the silliest of dancers! Dancing your heart out to silence could never be as fun.
4. Get pumped up!
Whether you're at a sporting event, getting ready for a first date, or at the gym; music once again is able to set the tone and get you excited and motivated for whatever is to come.
5. Friends Forever
As our Snappers already know, music has a way of connecting people no matter who they are. Going to concerts and musical events are always so much more fun when you have someone else there, who's just as excited as you are!
6. It understands when you need to cry.
We've already mentioned how music doesn't judge - but it's also always there for you through the hardest of times. We all have our moments where our only source of happiness can be a container of Ben and Jerry's ice cream and what better way to accompany that than a solid playlist?
7. Music makes life more romantic.
Whether it be with your significant other or romanticizing your own life, music is perfect for creating the ideal ambience.
10. Turn that frown upside down!
Picture this - you're absolutely miserable from a long, hard day at work. You get in your car to go home, turn on the radio, and YOUR song is on! You know what song I'm talking about; the one with the power to flip your mood.
...And that concludes our list of 10 reasons to be thankful for music. Our favorite point has to be about building friendships and connections! In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we couldn't be more thankful for our talented SingSnap family.
