🏡 SingSnap Chat Community - Exciting News!
The SingSnap Chat community is a valued part of our family here on SingSnap. It started as a text only chat and morphed into a singing karaoke room with one of the most kind and supportive environments on the web! Your next best friend is sitting there, smiling and singing the day away!
Historically, our chat community was hosted right here on SingSnap however, when flash was rendered obsolete and we were building our new website, we relocated our community to Paltalk temporarily. It was a whirlwind roller coaster over there but we had an amazing time and thrived in 2023. The community has grown and today we see some of the largest groups/lists in SingSnap history. Paltalk has introduced some incredible humans into our family and we will be forever grateful!
With that said, it's time for a change. Our last day on Paltalk will be June 7, 2023. At that time the SingSnap Chat Admin team will be going on Spring Break! Most of our chat admins volunteer 20+ hours a week and many of them have been a part of the team for years and years - so we want to give them a break to enjoy the start of Summer! However...
🏡 There Will Still Be A Chat Room Over Spring Break
Don't worry, we're addicted too! We are not taking away your community! We will be hosting a Spring Break chat room on Discord with a reduced admin presence. There will still be admins popping in but they just won't be there as often. Discord will be 100% free for everyone! The room will be open 24/7 and available for all SingSnap Chat Members (SingSnap And Paltalk!) We will give more details about Discord in a minute but first there is even more exciting news!
We will let you know when Spring Break will be over as soon as possible! (but the estimated time is 2-4 weeks) ...
🏡 The SingSnap Chat Community is coming HOME!
SingSnap Staff is committed (and currently working on!!) implementing a chat back on site!!! This is amazing news for our community and will finally bring us back home where we belong! 🎉 Relocating our chat family was always temporary and we are so far beyond thrilled to bring the chat back home for all of the community to enjoy right here on www.singsnap.com!

We know this news may be met with mixed emotions for some of our Paltalk friends. We totally understand Paltalk is your home but our doors will ALWAYS be open and we hope you'll still drop by!
