The Bee Gees made their American television debut when they appeared on the "Ed Sullivan Show"! They woo'd the audience with their smash hit 'Words' and have been a success ever since!

1979 - Jimmy Buffett ...

Buffer released his eighth studio album, Son Of A Son Of A Sailor, which features his popular hit "Cheeseburger In Paradise." Anyone else hungry now?

1979 - Gloria Gaynor ...

Gaynor topped the UK Singles chart with his smash hit 'I Will Survive'! She held that spot for a very successful four consecutive weeks!

Samuel George, an American singer and drummer was fatally stabbed in a domestic fight and passed away. He is best remembered as one third of the R&B trio 'The Capitols'.

1991 - Reba McEntire ...

In a horrific turn of events, seven members of Reba McEntire's band, as well as her road manager and two pilots were killed when their plane crashed near the Mexican border. Reba and a few others were on a different plane.

2001 - Dave Matthews Band ...

The Dave Matthews Band had the honor of holding the number one album in the United States with โ€˜Everydayโ€™.

2020 - Dropkick Murphys ...

St. Patrick's Day concerts were all cancelled due to the coronavirus, so Dropkick Murphys hosted a live stream/free concert from an empty venue in Boston. This set a trend and several other artists followed suit by using the internet to perform for their fans!
