<h1 class="ql-align-center"><strong>Romans 12:10</strong></h1><p class="ql-align-center"><br></p><p class="ql-align-center">“<em>Be</em>&nbsp;kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;”</p><p class="ql-align-center"><br></p><p class="ql-align-center">*************************************</p><p><br></p><p>"He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" is a ballad written by Bobby Scott and Bob Russell. The song was originally recorded by Kelly Gordon in 1969. Later that year THE HOLLIES released a world-wide hit of the song and Neil Diamond followed this with his own version on Nov 5, 1970. The orchestration in this version comes from a Barry Manilow recording released Sept 18, 2007 on his album "The Greatest Songs of the Seventies."</p><p><br></p><p>There is a story behind the song which informs that in 1918, a young boy suffering from polio had to be regularly carried up and down the stairs at Boys Town in Omaha, Nebraska.
