<h1 class="ql-align-center"><strong>Ecclesiastes 7:3</strong></h1><p class="ql-align-center"><br></p><p class="ql-align-center">“Sorrow <em>is</em> better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.”</p><p class="ql-align-center"><br></p><p class="ql-align-center">*************************************</p><p><br></p><p>"<strong>Blue Moon</strong>" is a song written by Gary Leach and Mark Tinney, and recorded by American country music artist Steve Holy. It was released in April, 2000 as the second single and title track from his debut album "Blue Moon." </p><p><br></p><p><span style="background-color: rgb(251, 251, 251); color: rgb(78, 78, 78);">A rare celestial phenomenon called a 'Super Blue Blood Moon' was visible on January 31, 2018. People from across the country were gazing up into the sky early that Wednesday morning to get a glimpse of the simultaneously occurring total lunar eclipse. A Blue Moon is when there is a second full moon in one calendar month. A Supermoon happens when the Moon is at its closest point to Earth and appears to be 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than normal. The blood moon is a corresponding phenomenon whereby the moon in total eclipse appears reddish in color as it is illuminated by sunlight filtered and refracted by the earth's atmosphere. The last time all of these events occurred simultaneously in North America was 1866.</span></p><p><br></p><p><img src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/3iC4zSTNjyk/maxresdefault.jpg"></p><p><br></p><p>I ran across this song that I recorded back in January of 2018, when the astronomical phenomena occurred. I thought I could improve on my performance by lowering the key. O well, there was no harm in trying. <span style="color: rgb(32, 33, 34);">Deborah Evans Price of </span><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billboard_(magazine)" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(32, 33, 34);"><em>Billboard</em></a><span style="color: rgb(32, 33, 34);"> gave the song a negative review, calling it a "lackluster ballad that fails to help Holy distinguish himself from the pack."
