We've had the honour of hosting The Salvation Army International Staff Songsters for this Palm Sunday weekend and I had the very great privilege of singing a few great songs with them. I must say that I was a bit star struck to be on stage with these very talented musicians and their wonderful music and the blessing they brought, left me both, physically and emotionally, a bit overwhelmed. The thing I took most from their visit was the amazing love God has for us all shown through Jesus' giving Himself up to the cross. They made me want to do more for Him who's done so much for me but, as Jesus told His friends who couldn't even watch with him the night He was betrayed, the sprite is willing, but the flesh is weak. I sometimes grumble at God that He didn't give me a deeper faith when I was younger and fitter. But still, when all said and done, I know that God knows best. Why?
