I want to thank you all for you great music and reasons for your choices. They have brought me much joy and a little sadness too. I think it is a super way to get to know each other a little better. I want too, to thank those who've left such very kind comments on my efforts. They are truly very much appreciated. My thanks too, as always, to Tony who gives us these magical musical journeys! For this final round I've gone with friendship/love. I am very blessed to have friends all over thanks to the internet. Many I will never see in person, but still feel a deep bond of friendship and even love for them. I am very lucky in that I have a very dear friend whom I have also never seen, but feel His presents daily in my life. I wrote a poem about him thirty-three years ago and I feel stronger about our friendship now than I did back then.</p><p class="ql-align-center">A TRUE FRIEND!</p><p class="ql-align-center">I have a friend… His Name, it is Jesus.</p><p class="ql-align-center">No power of man can e’er come between us.</p><p class="ql-align-center">Though others may shun Him and turn Him away,</p><p class="ql-align-center">I know that forever, in my heart He will stay.</p><p class="ql-align-center"><br></p><p class="ql-align-center">As life’s cares may grow, with my fears multiplying,</p><p class="ql-align-center">My friend comes to guide me with love that’s undying.</p><p class="ql-align-center">My rock and my anchor in all life can bring,</p><p class="ql-align-center">A true friend and mentor, His praises I’ll sing.</p><p class="ql-align-center"><br></p><p class="ql-align-center">My friend, He is with me, through thick and through thin.</p><p class="ql-align-center">What e’er may befall us, I know we can win.</p><p class="ql-align-center">Though I stumble and fall as I go through life’s mill,</p><p class="ql-align-center">When I ask Him to help me, I know that He will.</p><p class="ql-align-center"><br></p><p class="ql-align-center">He’s never too busy, too wrapped up to care,</p><p class="ql-align-center">I just let Him know that I need Him in prayer.</p><p class="ql-align-center">He’s never dishonest, deceitful or wrong,&nbsp;</p><p class="ql-align-center">But, loving, dependable, faithful and strong.</p><p class="ql-align-center"><br></p><p class="ql-align-center">He wants you to join us, my best friend and me.</p><p class="ql-align-center">Just let Him in and the difference you’ll see.</p><p class="ql-align-center">Listen… He’s knocking, you know what to do.</p><p class="ql-align-center">Just open the door, He’ll be your friend too!</p><p>God bless us all 'till we meet again,</p><p>Love and friendship,</p><p>Michael.</p>
