Both Part A and Part B must be completed. The goal is to either&nbsp;<strong>ROCK</strong>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<strong>SHOCK</strong>&nbsp;your way through Hagthorne’s test. Read carefully - she delights in mistakes.</p><p><br></p><p><strong style="color: rgb(0, 138, 0);">The Rockin’ Class – Part A:&nbsp;</strong>If you choose ROCK, you must perform a&nbsp;<strong>high-energy rock song</strong>&nbsp;that feels electrifying or charged. Think songs with lyrics about power, transformation, fire, lightning, or raw energy. The louder and more explosive, the better your chance at surviving Hagthorne’s glare.</p><p><br></p><p><strong style="color: rgb(0, 138, 0);">The Rockin’ Class – Part B:&nbsp;</strong>When you enter class through this path, the walls spark with neon lightning and the air hums like an amplifier. To survive, you must complete one of the following side challenges:</p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Costume Challenge:</strong>&nbsp;Perform in full rock star mode - leather jacket, ripped jeans, sunglasses, band tees, or big hair.</li><li><strong>Written Challenge:</strong>&nbsp;In your song comments, name your debut rock album and its electrifying lead single. (Meaning the Album Title should have some reference to Electricity) Example:&nbsp;<em>Album: Voltage Fever – Single: Shockwave Heartbeat.</em></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong style="color: rgb(0, 138, 0);">The Shockin’ Class – Part A:&nbsp;</strong>If you choose SHOCK, you must perform a song that conjures the thoughts of&nbsp;<strong>witches, spells, potions, or magic.</strong>&nbsp;The title could include one of these words: Magic, Spell, Green, Potion, Mix, Drink, Water, Brew, Enchantment, Curse etc., As long as the word gives witchy vibes - it will pass the test.&nbsp;<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent;">Imagine your performance is part of a dark ritual or a mysterious brew being prepared. Songs can reference supernatural love potions, dangerous spells, enchanted forests, or mystical transformations.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong style="color: rgb(0, 138, 0);">The Shockin’ Class – Part B:&nbsp;</strong>Stepping into this Class is stepping into her lair. The room is dark and humid, shelves crammed with jars of withered herbs, bones, and unlabeled bottles. To survive, you must complete one of the following side challenges:</p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Costume Challenge:</strong>&nbsp;Dress in witchy or magical attire – robes, cloaks, wide-brimmed hats, symbols, or props like potions, books, or wands.</li><li><strong>Written Challenge:</strong>&nbsp;<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent;">Create your own spell! Give it a name, describe what it does, and list the ingredients. Be creative - mix in song titles, SingSnap inside jokes, or spooky references</span><strong style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent;">.</strong><strong>&nbsp;E</strong>xample:&nbsp;<em>Potion of Perfect Pitch – 2 verses of Van Halen, 1 pinch of Stevie Nicks’ shawl fringe, stirred under a blood moon.</em></li></ul><p><br></p><p>👉 Both parts must be completed to earn the Emerald Fragment and move forward in the Academy. Fail and your voice may become just another one of Hagthorne’s bottled ingredients.</p>
