<p>This was one of the old standards for the opening of our Sunday School program before the different age groups would go to their classes. The lyrics of this are so very true. Before meeting Christ and making Him Lord of our lives, we are ALL "sinking deep in sin." Thank God he sent his Son to take all that sin for us. Even though we still sin daily, we go to him for forgiveness and we try to live for Him. That's why we are no longer SINKING and will be in Heaven with our Lord when we leave this world. Praise His Holy Name! If any of your listening feel like you are sinking, call out to Jesus and ask Him to come into your heart. He's always right there where you are.</p><p><br></p><p>Thank you so much for asking me to sing this with you, Royce. You did great for not really knowing the song. I just had to practice it with you until I got your phrasing, but the way you phased it was bound to be different because it's not the traditional style of the hymn. I hope I have it mixed okay.
