Written by Jimmy Holiday and Eddie Reeves, the track was originally a huge pop hit for Sonny &amp; Cher in 1971, but Rogers and West successfully brought it to <strong>No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Country Singles chart</strong> in April 1979. Their beautiful vocal harmony also earned them a Grammy Award nomination for Best Country Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group.</p><p><br></p>
