<p>Omgoodness, my daughter introduced me to this song recently...I knew this song as I was growing up, I liked it, never really grasped the meaning of it, and then my daughter had it on her playlist for our 4 hour car ride. I truly believe that we comprehend the depth of songs only when we need to in life, if that makes sense. Sure, this song had great harmonies, I sang it a few times when i was younger, but on this car ride, I actually engulfed the lyrics, the meaning, and I am still bawling at how sad and painful these lyrics are, I can't even imagine how much pain and suffering the person who inspired these lyrics was going through. This is watching the love of your life start forgetting themselves, starting to forget you. My heart is breaking so much right now. There is a third harmony I will add to this soon, this is just my rough draft. Thank you to those who listen🙂</p>
