I opted for this one, Goldfinger and others can wait for another day. This is the theme to the fifth James Bond film and is sung by Nancy Sinatra after her father passed on the opportunity. Nancy was reported to be very nervous while recording – first she wanted to leave the studio; then she claimed to sometimes "sound like Minnie Mouse". A sound I've reproduced here. 🤣 Song composer John Barry declared that the final song uses 25 different takes. I needed quite a few. Released as a single, it charted in the UK (No.11), Australia (No.10), Canada (No.39) and the US (No.44).</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong style="color: rgb(33, 37, 41); background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">Night at the Drive In Challenge - Part B:</strong><span style="color: rgb(33, 37, 41); background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"> No drive-in cinemas in the UK but if there were I'd invite SS friend Sue (</span><a href="https://www.singsnap.com/#/d/profile/3502454/info" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(33, 37, 41); background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">SOOOZSTER</a><span style="color: rgb(33, 37, 41); background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">) along. We'll go for 2 x Classic Hot Dog, 2 x Crispy French Fries and as I can't afford two beers with that it'll have to be 2 x Ice Cold Fountain Soda. Total: $4.90.</span></p>
