<p>Here's another Ricky tune spanning several generations, and for those, like me who love the oldies, this one is high on the list or for anyone who loves these types of simple love songs from back in the day. I hope you will too. </p><p><br></p><p>My wife Sue cracks me up sometimes. She came in here and waved her hand while I was recording. Then with some emotion in her voice, asked "Are you recording?" I was practicing, so I took my headphones off and said, "Well, not now, what's up?" </p><p>.</p><p>She said, "I just wanted to let you know that you're singing that one part wrong." (I forget what the part was now). </p><p><br></p><p>So, I said, "I was just practicing, Honey." </p><p><br></p><p>She said, "Well... I have the record and it was one of my favorites." Then she left abruptly no doubt proud of herself for 'setting the record straight about her Ricky record. Hmpf! I felt like I just got spanked for no reason at all. God help me if I would ever sing one of her Ricky songs wrong. </p><p><br></p><p>After 48 years I thought I knew her. I had no idea that she harbored such emotions over her Ricky. My sisters were bad enough, slobbering all over themselves whenever Ricky would close his eyes ever-so-slowly when he'd sing on his show. Sometimes I would go to the trouble of making fart sounds every time he'd do that, until they'd cry, "Mom...make him stop! MAKE HIM STOP!!!!!"</p><p><br></p><p>Now that I've finished this song, I intentionally left in the wrong note in this version and I'll Bluetooth it loudly to the family room system when she's in there, just to see if she'll notice it. It's possible that I'll get a text saying, "I HEARD THAT! YOU FIX IT RIGHT NOW!"</p><p><br></p><p>Anywayz, thanks so much for stopping by for a listen.</p>
