From the shadows emerges Professor Grimfang – The Shapeshifting Predator. His eyes glow like embers, his grin reveals teeth just a little too sharp, and the torn edges of his coat twitch with fur that refuses to stay hidden. They say Grimfang tests his students by unleashing beasts into the room – and if the creatures don’t get you, he will. To move forward, you must face the hunter himself and claim the second fragment of the Spiritstone – the Crimson Fragment, still wet with claw marks. 👻 Crimson FragmentThe second piece of the Spiritstone rests in Professor Grimfang’s ancient bestiary – the Crimson Fragment. <img src="https://singsnap-cdn.nyc3.digitaloceanspaces.com/message-board/threads/B6P0/c40c5804dd_P8BH_media.png"> 👻 Beast Lore Challenge DetailsThis challenge consists of two parts. Both Part A and Part B must be completed. The goal is to either ROCK or SHOCK your way through Grimfang’s test. Read carefully – he loves to toy with his prey. The Rockin’ Class – Part A: If you choose ROCK, you must perform a Glam Rock anthem from the 1980s – the louder, flashier, and wilder, the better. Choose a song that channels that wild, feral energy of the 80's.Examples: Rock You Like a Hurricane – Scorpions, Welcome to the Jungle – Guns N’ Roses, Pour Some Sugar On Me – Def Leppard. The Rockin’ Class – Part B: When you enter through this Class, the room explodes with neon lights, smoke, and the pounding echo of stadium drums. To survive, you must complete one of the following side challenges: <ul><li>Costume Challenge: Animal print ruled that era so channel the wild, untamed vibe of the 80s glam rock scene with bold animal print – leopard, tiger, or zebra patterns. Pair it with leather pants, fringed jackets, fingerless gloves, bandanas, and big teased hair. The more over-the-top and stage-ready, the better.</li><li>Written Challenge: If you and your glam rock band were setting out on the most over-the-top, animal-print-fueled world tour in history, what would it be called and where would it kick off? Fake bonus points if the name ties into animals or the wild theme. Example: The Leopard Lightning Tour – Opening night in Los Angeles with pyrotechnics, smoke cannons, and a stage shaped like a giant tiger’s head.</li></ul> The Shockin’ Class – Part A: If you choose SHOCK, you must perform a song with an animal or shapeshifter-word in the title – as if you’re channeling your wild side and Grimfang is trying to unleash it in you. Song title inspiration: Wild, Lion, Tiger, Horse, Change, Transform, Morph, Change, Cat, Wolf, Bear, Serpent. Growl through it, roar through it, let the beast inside of you sing. The Shockin’ Class – Part B: Step into this class and you’ll hear growls circling closer, claws scraping against stone, and feathers raining down from unseen wings. To survive, you must complete one of the following side challenges: <ul><li>Costume Challenge: Dress as if you’re caught mid-transformation by Professor Grimfang’s curse. Think fur accents, clawed gloves, animal ears or tails, face paint whiskers or stripes, and torn clothing like you’ve just ripped through your human form. The goal is to look feral, dangerous, and only half human.</li><li>Written Challenge: If Grimfang’s curse took hold and you transformed into your ultimate beast form, what would you be called, what animal traits would you have, and what would your special power be? Example: The Midnight Howler – A wolf-panther hybrid with glowing yellow eyes, razor-sharp claws, and the power to paralyze prey with a single roar.</li></ul> 👉 Both parts must be completed to earn the Crimson Fragment and move forward in the Academy. Fail and Grimfang will write your name in his bestiary forever.
