<p>A true story from my life. In the 70s, my best mate, Mario (SOLO2010), was stone in love with a beautiful woman called Helen. I had two media passes to see the Stylistics in Sydney so I asked Mario if he'd like to come. He said 'Les you're the only person I'd trust with my girl, but can you take her to see the <span style="color: rgba(38, 38, 40, 0.9);">Stylistics</span> on your second pass; she loves them!' Of course I did and this was one of the songs. Why do I remember it so well? Sadly, later that year Helen's wealthy father told her she could do better with a more wealthy partner than Mario. It ended their relationship; Mario never got over her.</p>
