We're calling out to all Snappers to dust off those glorious <strong>One Hit Wonders</strong> that ruled the radio for a hot minute (and then vanished faster than MC Hammer pants.) From the <em>Macarena</em> to <em>Chumbawumva, </em>these songs were iconic, and unforgettable – even if their singers were never heard from again.</p><p><br></p><p>This is your chance to give these hits their well-deserved <strong>second moment in the spotlight</strong>. Grab your mic, find that one-track wonder you can’t help but belt out, and show the world that some tunes only need one try to live forever.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>💿 One Hit Challenge Details</strong></p><p>To complete this challenge, be sure to follow both Part A and Part B below!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Blockbuster Ballads - Part A: </strong>On Friday, <strong>August 1st</strong>, choose your favorite <strong>One Hit Wonder </strong>and sing your heart out! (One pre-record is allowed.)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Blockbuster Ballads - Part B: </strong>Now let’s pretend this song wasn’t their only claim to fame – imagine the artist tried to follow it up with a sequel. In your song’s <strong>comment section</strong>, give us a <strong>hilariously made-up title for that “next big hit”</strong> that never made it to the charts. The funnier, cheesier, or more over-the-top, the better! (Think <em>Mambo No. 6</em>, <em>Who Let the Cats Out</em>, or <em>Baby Got Back… Again</em>.)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>💿</strong> <strong>Get Featured on What's Snappenin' and Social Media</strong></p><p><br></p><p>If you want to increase your chances of getting featured on What's Snappenin', do a fun and creative video. Wear a costume, paint your face, create a special video. As always, the more creative - the better! The sky is the limit!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>💿 Challenge Details</strong></p><p><br></p><p>1. The Challenge is open from 12:00 AM EST to 11:59 PM EST August 1! The song must be date August 1, 2025. (Except Pre-Record)</p><p>2. Duets are allowed. You may harmonize with yourself.</p><p>3. Gender Benders are acceptable</p><p>4. You MUST have FUN! Fun, Fun, Fun!</p><p>5. Post your challenge link back in this thread.</p><p>6. Web cams are encouraged but not required.</p><p>7.
