Hall&nbsp;and&nbsp;Bobby Bare,&nbsp;who later encouraged him to move to Nashville and play lead guitar in Hall's band.&nbsp;Hall also helped Rodriguez secure a record deal with Mercury Records.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
