<p>Feelin' the delta blues in me with this one! I just love to hear the greats grind out those gritty blues songs, &amp; Etta James was one of the very greatest! In this song, the gal makes a play for a fella in a big way: she's offering to be 'the subservient little wifey type' just to reel this guy in. Oh, how 1950's of her! *laugh* Still, I adore the earthy, overt sensuality of these lyrics, &amp; the lazily flowing melody that bucks, &amp; weaves along like a buggy ride on a rutted dirt road. This is a classic old blues tune, that's fun to sing!</p>
