<p>This is a hard song for me to sing. Not vocally, but it just makes me emotional. These lyrics can be interpreted in a variety of ways. Had a great life growing up. The best family I could ever ask for. However, I was a kid who was picked on. Picked on because I was fat, picked on because I had crossed eyes etc.... I never said a word. I do think that is why I have such empathy for my students, and people in general. Finally, speak up for people and speak up for yourself. Above all else, show kindness, you don't know what someone else is going through.</p><p>Thanks for listening.</p>
