The song peaked at number 16 on the </span><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billboard_Hot_100" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"><em>Billboard</em> Hot 100</a><span style="color: rgb(32, 33, 34);"> and number 9 on the </span><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_R%26B/Hip-Hop_Songs" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">Hot R&B Singles Chart</a><span style="color: rgb(32, 33, 34);"> in 1968. "The Sweet Inspirations," which included Aretha's two sisters Erma and Carolyn, performed backing vocals on the track.
