Souther and came out 1979.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Souther was a talented musician, songwriter, singer and instrumentalist.</p><p><br></p><p>J.D. Souther was a part of some of the biggest hits of the ‘70s as a collaborator with the Eagles so with “Best of my love” and “New kid in town”.</p><p><br></p><p>The big success was denied him until “You're only lonely” appeared, which made him famous by reaching the top ten.</p><p><br></p><p>This is my favourite song by him.</p><p><br></p><p>He died on September 17, 2024 shortly before a start of a tour.</p><p><br></p><p>I found this fantastic solo part by Tune_girl75 and joined her.</p><p><br></p><p>No harmony, I put this duet only forward.</p>
