We are super excited to announce that one of SingSnap's most honored traditions will continue in 2021! Every year around the holiday, we join together with a few hundred of our closest SingSnap friends and sing together delivering a show-stopping performance. The SingSnap Chorus will once again be filling your ears and hearts next month but the process is going to be a little different here on SingSnap 2.0! Please read carefully! While you read, enjoy listening to last years performance of <a href="https://www.singsnap.com/#/d/listen/9249350" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 102, 204);">Holly Jolly Christmas</a>! This year we are drifting away from the holiday theme and trying on a different hat. The song the SingSnap Chorus will be performing this year is; <a href="https://www.singsnap.com/#/d/listen/11576333" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(107, 36, 178);">I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing</a>! Our wonderfully talented SingSnap Staff member <a href="https://www.singsnap.com/#/d/profile/873004/info" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 102, 204);">Harry </a>has performed this song and recorded it on his account. The biggest difference this year is that there will be no Chorus Review Panel. That means the onus is on YOU to make sure you meet all the requirements as closely as you can! All you have to do is record the song with him as a duet and sing as closely along with him as possible! It's really important and crucial to sing as closely along with Harry as you possibly can because the more in unison the voices are - the better it will sound! When you are recording your duet with Harry, keep the following rules in mind; <ol><li>Open the following recording <a href="https://www.singsnap.com/#/d/listen/11576333" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(107, 36, 178);">I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing</a> and tap Duet/Jam</li><li>Sing with Harry as closely as possible.</li><li>Do not speak AT ALL</li><li>Do not make ANY noises (Turn off your televisions, put your dogs outside, etc.,)</li><li>Record with headphones if at all possible. If you don't, make sure your speakers are very very low.</li><li>Record Line In/Mic Only. Do NOT record Stereo/What-U-Hear</li></ol> You are allowed to submit up to two recordings. One with melody vocal and one with harmony vocals. If you choose to do a harmony track, you will still duet with Harry's base track and add your own harmony. Please read below for clarification. Melody Defined: Essentially, sing the exact same notes that Harry is singing - when he is singing them. Just be sure to indicate when posting and in your song comment section that it is melody. Harmony Vocals Defined: While you must still sing in sync, you will be singing a simultaneous combination of tones that may be different from the melody but still sound pleasing to the ear. 🎼 Update Your Profile Image! Everyone who submits and entry will have their image displayed in a Chorus Video! It is recommended that you update your profile image to a High Quality/Recent photo! It can even be festive if you'd like! Once the deadline has passed and all the songs have been collected, Tony will work his magic and mix the recording into another amazing SingSnap Chorus masterpiece! Carefully read the instructions below to learn how to submit your song. Again, there is no review panel. No one will be checking your song to make sure it meets requirements. Tony will be doing that on his end during mixing so to ensure your voice makes the chorus, follow the above guidelines closely! 🎼 Rules And Submission Guidelines! <ol><li>Sing along with Harry as closely as possible. Do NOT sing when he isn't singing. Sing with him throughout the entire song.</li><li>Each Snapper may submit a maximum of two recordings.</li><li>If you only submit one recording, it should be a melody track.</li><li>If you submit two, one must be melody and one must be harmony.</li><li>Sing Only!
