I mean DAY. Every day.

But this here is Jaxon’s story. Jaxon is the lonely owner of Jaxon’s Diner in the heart of Clinton since 1995. It's so sad. 30 years of beloved classic diner offerings and heartfelt hugs from everyone and their uncle, yet the owner of this paradise fud place (along with his attractive mama) is seriously contemplating movin’ out to the country. The chant “Clinton will dry up if you and mama move back to Decatur” has been heard since 2017 and probably well before that. “Silly farmers”, Jaxon would love to silently call them, and then quickly frown away with affect. “All we got ‘round here are stupidass spics and hicks,” he would laughingly tell himself all day. Yet all he ever really wanted was just a lady who would effortlessly “play” him, the way he knew he should always be played. The risk, of course, is rejection. A solid start, motive, and sense of timing. I think most of you have been there, done that. Rejection simply burns the whole thing to the bottom… rock bottom. Let’s just complete this part of the story by letting Jaxon share his open wooing of his girlfriend, Lila, about 5 years ago. 😎
