I had a lot of technical issues at first, then when I was all set to remix it properly, I fell ill with a nasty virus of some sort. Hopefully You guys like it.</p><p><br></p><p>It has been a long and wild ride being part of this contest and everyone who participated and followed along with the happenings of this contest know that it was a lot of hard work, but also a lot of learning, camaraderie, understanding, choosing wisely, knowing our strengths and our weaknesses, not being ashamed to get constructive criticism and praise, most of the time, both. being grateful but humble and never losing sight of the prize (whatever that means to you). It was an emotionally draining experience - GOOD Emotional, but DRAINING none the less.💕</p><p><br></p><p>Because of the overall heaviness, the level of transparency &amp; vulnerability and the honesty us Snappers presented in this contest, I chose to write and sing a song that was light and upbeat. When I heard this track from the SingSnap Band It was like a lightbulb went off in my mind. This made me think of music I would listen to as a teenager/young adult, growing up in Vermont. Those days when nothing really mattered, but everything meant something. The sound of this track brought me back to a place and time.
