A JOURNEY BACK TO GENRES Round 2 Genre : 15. Oldies I just spent a few days in Venice and one evening in the hotel a singer sang this “crying” oldie from year 1966. This song brings back lovely childhood memories because my dad used to sing it ...but in Italian. I used to get mad and cry saying he should sing it properly (because “properly “ in my little head was in English) and then my dad would laugh, cuddle me and keep on singing in Italian! Many years after I discovered that dad was right ! infact it is the cover of an Italian song released in 1965 by Pino Donaggio and Vito Pallavicini called " Io che non vivo senza te.”- translated “ I, who can’t live without you”
