Together with wife LaBreeska and children Joey, Trent and Candy, they performed as The Hemphills, winning eight GMA Dove Awards and three BMI Awards.</p><p> </p><p><strong>“I Claim The Blood”</strong> was recorded by The Hemphills in 1989 and has become a popular Southern gospel standard.
