What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.</span>”</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>"Wedding Song (There Is Love)" was written by Noel Paul Stookey, an American folk singer-songwriter famous for being a member of the trio Peter, Paul &amp; Mary in the 1960's, although he has always gone by his first name Noel. His wife, Elizabeth Bannard Stookey is an ordained United Church of Christ minister. They went to high school together and met later in New York city. They have been married for sixty years.
