Over the last few weeks I've written about some of the things that are important to me. The memories I have, the hope I have for the future, the love I have for God and last week, my love of music. To round off this particular journey for living I've gone for something we all crave, happiness.

So much has happened these past few years to dampen our enthusiasm for life. Covid19, man's seemingly unceasing need to try and kill off his fellow man and to destroy our beautiful planet to name just a few. Despite all that, I truly believe having a positive attitude to life has helped keep me sane, (Well as close as I ever was to being sane...LOL!), through it all!

I've had my share of sad days during the past years, but with the help of my faith in God and the support of my friends I can honestly say "I've had more than my share of happiness!" too. I truly believe that, as the lyricist also wrote, "happiness is a frame of mind". To be honest, I often feel guilty about just how happy my life feels. That's not to say I don't care, I do, deeply. I know I can't really do very much to effect our world, but to paraphrase Arlo Guthrie "If one person does it they'll think you're mad, but! if every one does it, they'll think it's a movement" and that, just might lead to change. So I'll go on trying to encourage a little happiness wherever I can. Who knows? If we all join in, we might start a movement of our own!!

I want to thank everyone who has brought me happiness with their wonderful music and especially those who've taken the time to explain their choice of songs, over the last few weeks. It has been a privilege to be a part of your journeys. Last, but not least, a BIG thank you to Tony for his great job putting these trips together!😀

So, 'till we meet again,

God bless and keep us all in his loving arms,

Your friend,

Michael.
