There once was a singer named Elvis Presley
He was destined to be a star.
More than a star, he was the king
every time he got on stage to sing.
He Rock N Rolled while girls yelled
and fell at his feet
His voice and movements
never missed a beat

Oh I wish I was in Dixie
away away
In dixieland I'll make my stand
to live and die in Dixie

Turns out, his home also was a prison
a victim of his very own stardom
A get away, hide away,
at a place he named Graceland
Life became less and less fun
He passed away though very young
It's at Graceland,
where he's laid to rest

His memory is marching on

Elvis has lots of visitors every day.
Some say, he is still here today.
There's a Elvis look a like
in almost every town
trying to master his every movement
and his unique sound
Over thirty years since he passed away.
He's more popular now
and his popularity grows
more and more each and every day


He put the glory in hallelujah
and wore blue sued shoes
He could make a jail house rock
He also liked gospel and blues
He would end every show
singing American Trilogy
He lived his life like a lot
of the lyrics in the song 'My Way'.
