There is a story behind this one ....
Carmen is a wonderful lady, who's first language is French, not English. She adds so much to so many of our songs by shadow-singing with us, in English, and when she honoured me that way a couple of times, I more or less dared her to sing one herself, in French, so that I might try to return my respects. You guessed it ! She dared !
Being a guy, what could I do, except put my foot where me mouth is ? So here it is !
I just pray that I have not accidentally offered myself in marriage, or sold my eldest daughter, or something ....
I have no clue where we went with the tempo, or the tune, but - hey - if you get one quarter the pleasure from listening that I got from trying it, it will have been worth every tongue-twisting moment.
Carmen - you rawk, Lady !
And NO ! I do NOT speak French, LOL.
