Round Two--The word rain in the title.
I feel that I have to make a statement here. This song is in no way meant to make fun of people who are overweight. I am making fun of myself just to make others smile or laugh. If one actually listens to the words, he/she will see that I'm not even making fun of MYSELF being OVERWEIGHT. I am only making fun of how my skin looks after losing 160 lbs without the gastric bypass.
Some have suggested that I have "offended" others who are in the same situation. I couldn't believe that my silly song that was meant to make people laugh had actually hurt some. Well, it hurts me deeply when I hurt others, so I WAS going to mark this song private so that I wouldn't run the risk of offending anyone else with it.
Well, it's staying on public view/listening. It's not because I think I'm so talented or witty. Nor do I have a defensive attitude or a chip on my shoulder that says, "I don't care what they think. I'm keeping this public and they will just have to get over it." And I am not saying that if there is even one person offended that I don't care about that person's feelings.
Those of you who have followed my music and some of my silly cam shows know that my entire reason I do those besides getting to sing is to bring a little happiness for a couple minutes to someone. I just want to be myself and do my best to make the MAJORITY of people here happy they came to my recordings.
I have never been a braggart. I try to be very humble and just thankful that people like my songs. But guess what. I think I did a good job of rewriting the lyrics and delivering it in a funny way TO MAKE SOMEONE'S DAY HAPPIER. Btw, the ones who have told me they enjoyed this are all different. Some are thin. Some are heavy. Some have lost weight and have saggy skin, too. Even so, to those I have offended. I apologize. I am truly sorry.
