I saw it go from right on to 2 words faster then up to 4 words ahead...
But this has be going on way before stereo...I do lots of duets and some I would notice they were singing way before the words..Never thought anything about it till this...But who am I to say...Colleen

Yes I agree with you Colleen. I bet this has been going on for a LONG time and is even affecting the blue member's recordings as well. It just wasn't all that noticeable until we started testing for Stereo.

I just wanted to mention, that when Colleen commented, she had watched a different demonstration video of a much longer song. "I Can Only Imagine"

I now changed the video to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, so you can see the speed difference on a simple short song. Just imagine how far off it would have gotten to be, on a much longer song, once it played to the end.

I think you are absolutely correct here. It has been that way for some time but it does seem more noticeable than it did before. I hope they work on it and get it right. I figure if myspace can do it so can SS! Thanks for sharing this Gary. God bless you too! Hugs, Shawna

lol that was really cool demonstration gary... i think also that some cdg's are way off also... ya know on many i find they have even the Wrong Lyric's..... so it might be over-all problem because of certain track's just never sync up ... ya know what i mean? I hope that most of the issues can be resolved quickly tho...huggsssss gr8 demo again

I found a solution for those of you who ARE having this same problem as I was having, and I started a thread to help you. It wasn't a problem on SingSnap, it's a problem associated with some sound cards.

huh! And I always thought it was doing that because the other person had recorded the song on a personal type pc recorder to add effects or something and then just didn't time it back right when they recorded it back to singsnap...I know that's the only way for me to get effects on my songs because I only have this little chat mic that sucks so if my songs are off time it's usually because I didn't line it up right when I was making the transfer back to SS...lol.
