One tip: try to cough as little as possible. This is the equivalent to stripping a car's gears. Keep room temperature water handy. I get so worried when I hear someone cough while singing. It can aide in creating nodules on the vocal folds.
Sorry, just handy advice. I usually try to swallow. I know it's hard but, it helps :)
With all that being said, YOU DID AN AMAZING job :) This is not an easy song to sing and you did so beautifully....even while you are sick!!!
