round 8..major setback...
Me and lewis had our ups and downs before our baby was born...but afterwards its just seemed to get worse. We argued about most things...but even more when he was drunk. The one thing he promised me before we had our baby is that he would stop drinking so much... it didnt happen,, if anything , it made it worse. He seemed to be out all the time 'to wet the baby's head'.. every weekend..sometimes for two days at a time...sometimes i wouldnt see him for 3 days.... no phone call...nothing...
i'd had enough of it. We had to talk...so one night..i suggested we had a chat.. he had been out though for a few pints with the lads.. was prob not a good time, but i was sick of waiting on the right time with him..there never seemed to be a right time..
i sat him down and asked him if he really did love me and our child...he was too drunk to answer..so i went to my bed instead..and had to listen to him downstairs... playin music and singing and shouting....
i had to get up...see what was wrong with him..i shouldnt have..i know that now...
a month later i am staying at my mum and dads... the pysical abuse he gave me that nite will haunt me forever..i will never forgive him or forget what he has done to me... i can only wish that it had never happened..when we met, the happiness...the love..the excitement... where did it all go wrong? why did my loving man turn into this monster??
in a way..my heart will always be there..only because of the son we have together... he has given me a gorgeous and loving son...whom i will cherish for my whole life..
but for us..there is no going back. i can only move forward now. its does hurt.. i thought we would be together forever... isnt it funny how life turns out eh....
