Boy! I sure wish I had a key changer for this song. Gene Vincent must have been a tenor, I'm just a baritone, which should be translated as "barely-tone!" Diannia, if you are listening, this one is for you. Your friend, Joe

I remember when this song first came out. Every record company was looking for their own Elvis. Gene Vincent was Capitol Records choice. I used to get out my old Webcor tape recorder and sing this song into a metal wastebasket to get that Gene Vincent echo effect. It never quite sounded like his record! The "echo" was tinny and sounded like I was singing into a toilet! Today we have digital echo and can almost duplicate that Sun Sound! Your friend, Joe (Guess what? I'll be 68 yrs old on Jan. 8th, Elvis' birthday!)
