It is a great tune and I am glad that I got a chance to hear your version! Your phrasing and stamina on this tune are very impressive!
When I was a teenager this song was still on the jukebox at the skating rink- It was on two separate 45s. You had to pay double to hear the whole song. It stopped half way through and you had to wait for the 45 to flip over to hear the second half- if you had put in enough money!
And since the Jester is my husband Bob, this song has special meaning for me!
