A list of the artists he performed with includes: Ray Charles, Little Richard, Beatles, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, Sly & the Family Stone, Mahalia Jackson, Neil Diamond, Sam Cooke, Aretha, and many others.
"Nothing From Nothing" was another of his hits.
He passed away in 2006 (at the age of 59).
This song was released in 1972.
