Hi Blinky. Everything seems to sound pretty good, although, it does sound as if the timing is a bit off. Not sure if it's because you were relying on the lyrics as you were singing, or if it just saved differently than your preview.
A note about the "Preview Recording Level Slider" for the Music Volume, this will have no effect at all on the final saved recording, just so you know. ;-)
On your sound card's Volume Control, if it were me, I would Mute the Line In, just for the heck of it. On mono recordings, it can cause unwanted static and/or buzzes if not muted.
The only control that is important on your Recording Control, (for stereo recording) is your Microphone volume level. It basically does the exact same thing as the Record Level on the Sing Snap recorder. If you were to move the Record Level slider up or down on the Sing Snap recorder, you would be doing the exact same thing as moving the one on your sound card. So whichever one you happen to adjust last, is the setting that will be in effect, regardless as to what the other slider might be showing. ;-)
An explanation of the Visual Preview:
For those who might be interested and curious. This is to adjust the voice timing with that of the Music Track (which never ever changes). As you hit the minus button on the Timing Value, the Green Voice box moves slightly to the left, causing your voice to shift sooner. This is what has been causing a lot of problems, because once we get our timing sounding correct with the music track, then once we save the recording, it's not always the same. The result is: A "wasted recording" because their is no fixing it once we save the recording.
