"Beautiful" seems like such an inadequate word for the truly breathtaking quality of this. Outstanding!

Sad tale indeed...
I lost my own father to a rare malignant inoperable brain tumor in '98. From time of diagnosis, they gave him 6-9 months. He was gone in four and a half. It was so unexpected, because he was such a healthy person all his life, not even getting sick with the cold or flu.
Such a lovely song spun out of such pain and tragedy. Truly superlative rendition, Janet!

Who Will Sing Me Lullabies? - Kate Rusby
And accompanied by the man who can play anything Mr Kjell! He plays everything you hear on here folks, what a man eh? :D Thank you once again my friend.
This is a very beautiful song, and you all know how I love my lullabies... ;-)
Well, this has a sad little tale, Kate, when she wrote this, put this little bit in her songbook :(
"... a song for Davy Steele - a beautiful singer and a fantastic friend. I have sung songs of heartbreak and loss for a long time and thought I understood. I couldn't be further from the truth. When Davy was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour my own heart truly broke and has never felt the same since ..."
Awwwww... night night everyone, sweet dreams ...
Not a brilliant widget, I've still got L Plates... I'll try and do better later LOL Zzzzzzz
