My family and I had a memorial service for my Uncle Donald this weekend. He passed away in May of this year but he would have been 94 this November. He was recently residing in Ontario but his home was in Quebec. We chose this Thanksgiving weekend as an appropriate time for all of us to be together to lay him to rest. After the prayers and eulogy had been read I chose to sing a few verses of AMAZING GRACE but I was a little wobbly at first! I intended to re-do this in his honor.
REST IN PEACE UNCLE DON. Your brother John wishes that he could have attended but due to his age (98), we thought it was best that he stay home. It was a lovely service in the sun of an October day with all of us present.
