even though her father wasn't dead some girl had me sing Dance with my Father at a karaoke bar the other night , didn't get her nick but she said I sang it on here lol ,

gosh.. thanks so much for the wonderful comments and opinions you guys!! *hugs* Ohh and CB, I was thinking along the lines of a father/daughter or mother/son dance song.. with the lyrics meaning how they are moving on to a new phase in their life, but they will always carry their mom/dad with them and how much they appreciate everything they've been to them in their life and how they've always been there for them. So it's "leaving" in the sense that the son/daughter is leaving the mom/dad to start their new life together.. does that make any sense lol.. my brain hurts today. thanks again y'all!

I know it's been said before ...... but you really should stay on cam for these recordings ..... I've watched and enjoyed so many singers ...... but *NOBODY* emotes as much as *YOU* do when you sing. You were obviously born to do this and please please please please please .... when you do cut a CD ... send me the amazon link .... I'll gladly buy it.

Elisha, I have listened to you sing ever since I joined Sing Snap and I don't believe I have left a comment prior to this one. I have to tell you, I LOVE this song, and this movie was absolutely phenomenal .. BUT, it was nothing compared to the way you sung this song with such emotion, power and grace. Absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!

Whatever you decide to sing for this wedding, I guarantee you they will be in tears, in amazement and awe and truly blessed to know they have you in their lives!

By the way, my husband is a HUGE fan of yours too, not sure if he has heard this or not, but I will definitely pass the word on .. His jaw literally falls open when the first note floats so eloquently from your lips .. You're a shining star girl!!
