I too can remember when my sis got her 1st transistor radio. Sure were big back then. Couldn't very well hide them in purses to take to school. Wonderful performance and such a sweet story. God bless you!!!

Here is my story....
I have many special songs and many that bring back wonderful memories of my childhood.
I remember helping my mom as much as I could. And of course, getting an allowance.
My goal was to buy a transistor radio. They costed $2. That was lots of money back then. So I saved and saved. That day finally came. I had enough to buy my radio. I remember being so excited!!
When we came home. My dad opened the box and put the battery in. When we turned it on. The very first song we heard was....Sealed with a Kiss. I'll never forget that song.
I thought it was so beautiful.
To this day, when I hear that song again. I think of my transistor radio and how proud I was that I actually had one......my own.
