Slide show - Korean War

While in Korea, Dad was in one of the most horrific battles~ The Chosin Reservoir. Out of roughly 3,000 Army men about 345 made it home. In military circles they call the Army and Marine survivors the Chosin Few. Most survivors have mental scars, as in nightmares and physical scars due to frostbite. Dedicated to my Dad and his Army buddies.

Dad was in the Korean War and his mother received a letter that her son was MIA, well lo and behold on Oct 9th 1951 he came home and his mom thought she has seen a ghost! Dad always remembers my birthday well, Oct 9th, It was the day he had come home! And then years later, I was born on Oct 9th!
