I'm not singing here... this is our very talented friend, Delanie....
Background story:
I have several beloved nieces.... and I love my nieces to pieces! :-)) Four years ago when my oldest niece, Allie, turned eighteen and graduated from high school, I made her a very special gift: it was a scrapbook video set to special music with photos of her life so far.... Subsequently, two years ago it was Courtney's turn, and I made one for her, too... The tradition was born! So of course, this year when my beloved niece, Kendall, turned 18 and graduated, I set to work making her special slideshow gift. I had over 1,000 photos of Kendall, and used 12 different songs to tell her story. For the "grand ending", I chose Rascal Flatt's "My Wish", but since the message came from ME, I wanted the song to be sung by a female.
Now, we all know I can't sing worth a darn, but I am SO lucky to have SingSnap, where I know so many of you who CAN! I wrote Delanie and asked her if she would do a huge favor for me by singing this gorgeous song. Dede honored my request ... BEAUTIFULLY!

**On a personal note, between my lengthy illness (I am STILL coughing and having chest pain!), the two weeks I spent making Kendall's video, and my weeklong trip to Southern California to visit Kendall and the rest of my family, I have been noticeably absent..... I want to thank you all for stopping by and checking on me. I miss you all so much more than you could know, and I hope to be by soon to listen to you and sing with you all.
