If Anyone Falls by kiki

Coincidences happen right? Well here’s a story I would like to share with you. First off I am one sibling of a large family of 11 kids. Kinda like the Brady Brunch family, the children are yours mine and ours siblings. Ranging in age now from 39 – 50 at this time.
Well our family always had a love for music, being Classical from Dad, Country from my Step mom and the introduction of rock n roll from my older sister listening to the Beatles.
So I personally grew up in the 60’s listening to rock n roll and to this day still would consider myself a groupie proudly to rock n roll.
Lets forward to the 80’s. I moved from Pittsburgh PA to Tampa FL in 85 I took as my sole possessions a trunk full of clothes, a box of LP’s that contained Fleetwood Mac, Yes and Journey. All my other albums I gave away.
So the question is why did I move to Tampa? A year or two before my dad, stepmom, stepsister and 2 half sisters moved. The move helped dad with his frostbite that he obtained from the Korean War and mom with her arthritis.
Eventually over the years, all but 3 of the siblings moved and settled in Florida.
So why tell you this ? – my brother Pete was one who moved down from Pittsburgh. Pete actually bought some land had 2 trailers on it one for him the other for my parents to live.
Pete loved music and bikes. One time Pete got in an accident and had a broken arm. I told him Pete, that bike is gonna kill you one day. One day came too soon April 7th, 2000, just about one mile from his home Pete died while riding his motorcyle.
So a few years ago one of my sisters, Margo moved into Pete’s old trailer.
In the meantime Margo and myself would always be off to see concerts. My sis Margo loves Stevie Nicks! Personally I have never seen Fleetwood Mac and only saw Stevie Nicks for a free concert at the St. Petersburg pier a few years ago with Survivor. Everytime Stevie Nicks would come into town Margo would say lets go and she would procrastinate and we would never get to go.
So finally zoom back to 2008. I’m happy due to Yes is coming to town and I check upcoming event – STEVIE NICKS! I call Margo right away. I told her I will get the tickets cause if I wait for you, we won’t get to go. So April 12th, 10 AM, there I am at the computer while at work waiting to get the best tickets that I can for us. So I get the 12th row from the stage and was so happy I called Margo. Margo said she was about to cry that she was so happy.
Margo also told me she was cleaning out the back room which was used for a storage room in her trailer since Pete had the trailer. On the same day that I bought Stevie Nicks tickets we found out that Pete was In the Stevie Nicks fan club! We never knew this! He had some fan club letters and also a picture of Stevie in a frame.
I personally can’t wait to see the concert, finally I get to see Stevie live and I know that my brother Pete will be there in spirit with his sisters.
